British Canoeing Awarding administer the award system on behalf of all UK canoeing associations including Canoe Wales.
Personal Performance Awards
British Canoeing has recently introduced new Personal Performance Awards
The awards will replace the old star tests. There will be three levels of award aimed at the beginner on Sheltered Water. Above this each discipline will have a further three levels of award aimed at intermediate to advanced paddlers. The personal performance of the advanced level will be considerably above the previous 3 star qualification. Information can be found at the following websites:

Coaching and Leadership Awards
The club encourages and supports any member who consider developing Coaching and Leadership skills. We also do all we can to financially support members who demonstrate commitment to support the activities of the club.
To become a British Canoeing coach you need to join the British Canoeing Coaching Scheme, maintain Canoe Wales on the water membership and revalidate every three years when qualified.
